Integrated Interprofessional Clinical Placement Curriculum Model (i-IPCPC) Project

2017 – 2 public members for the working group to develop a framework for teaching health care team work in practice sites for health care students.  Providing feedback on different curriculum models for teaching and assessing collaboration skills.

The mandate of the committee is to adjudicate all applications and nominations for scholarships and awards managed by the Office of the Vice-Provost Health and make decisions on the most appropriate candidate for each scholarship and award.

UBC HEALTH COUNCIL – 2017 – 1 new public member

UBC HEALTH PATIENT & COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE –2017 – 8 patient/community representatives

The committee is to advise the UBC Health Council, work in partnership to include diverse, autonomous and authentic voices of patients in the education of health and social care professionals, and to advocate for patients as active collaborators in the role of teachers, assessors, curriculum developers and educational decision makers.
