Learning with patients anchors the habit of partnership in the next generation of health professionals for better care and more satisfying careers.
We value shared information and experience over authoritative knowledge, especially when it comes to our own bodies. We support people's right to make informed choices about their health and health care.
Those who know, report that medical students listen carefully to real patients. I want to be part of the PIE processes which given them the best patient messages.
Working with Developmental Disabilities Association which is a community living agency that provides over 50 community-based programs and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. We create extended networks of support, invest in individuals needs, and strive for an inclusive and safety community.
A patient partner in research, I am very inspired by the education of future health care professionals.
